The LaGrange Fire District announces an EMS training opportunity.

Annual Bloodborne Pathogens


  • Annual Required Bloodborne Pathogens Training material.
  • This training is required for all Fire and EMS personnel.

These classes will be held at the following times:

Tuesday, April 17, 2012, 0900 - 1200
Friday, April 20, 2012, 0900 - 1200
Wednesday, May 16, 2012, 1900 - 2200
Monday, May 21, 2012, 1900 – 2200

All classes will be held at Lagrange Station 2

You only need to attend one of the above classes.

Program Description
This is a one-day trauma program, that is aimed at Police, Fire, or Rescue First Responders.
The program provides lecture and practical sessions on trauma assessment and management.
The program is designed to provide today's First Responder with the essential elements of
trauma management, made famous by the more comprehensive PHTLS for Ambulance
Providers, and to promote a systematic and organized approach to the care of
the trauma patient.
